[ RM ] All the disconnects noted on this site represent some type of risk. The
failure to identify a risk is a risk in-and-of-itself. How a risk is
addressed - or the justification for not addressing a risk - is dependent upon
the risk's characteristics. You should not simply disconnect yourself from
the reality that there are risks to your organization. To do so is to let
the risks grow until they become too overwhelming, at which point too much
damage may be done. SOX compliance - and good business sense - demands
that risks be identified and addressed while they can be managed. |
